Fenchurch
In the year 2000 a few kids met up to skate in FENCHURCH, a part of London. They became great friends and a beautiful story begun. The result of many late-night sessions the idea to create our own brand was born. We already made our own clothes so we decided to take it to the next step and make clothes for people like us, who searched for a style they could identify with.
We bought our first industrial sewing machine and taught ourselves pattern cutting, grading and formal tailoring in an effort to really understand how clothes are made.
In 2001 we built our team of sponsored skateboarders and bmxers. We also pre-sold our first range of men's clothing to 35 of favorite skate shops.
In 2002 we moved from our warehouse shack of a home, into luxury offices. It was time to go public: our very first collection - Spring 2002 - was delivered to shops. It was sold out in an amazing 4 week period!
2003 was a year of highs and lows. We started 2003 with the launch our first ladies collection of sexy, feminine streetwear. Everything was happy in the land of Fenchurch. But then disaster struck, our beautiful new home was burnt to the ground and everything was lost.
In 2004 we were back on the up! Down but not defeated Fenchurch came back stronger than ever, and we turned our attention from skate to street fashion.
In 2005 Prince Harry makes headlines wearing a Fenchurch "This Generation" tee. That’s royal approval of Fenchurch!
In 2006 Fenchurch spreads its European wings, with new distributors across Italy, Benelux and Scandinavia.
