About Nikita

NIKITA Clothing was founded seven years ago by Heida Birgisdottir in a small shop called The Missing Link, downtown in Reykjavik, Iceland. Heida- one of the owners of the shop- knew that clothing should feel as good as it looked and should make a girl feel just as well, on the hill or in the city. Aside from the shop she was guiding snowboard trips in Iceland, and also had a pretty serious passion for design, style and fashion. Heida wanted something different, and from that came Nikita. The first production was 40 fleeces. We sold them exclusively in The Missing Link and they were made in Iceland, on the country-side. Today Nikita is available in selected stores in ca 30 countries and represented by some of the coolest girls on the planet. Nikita participates in all kinds of happenings around the world, encouraging girls to live an active lifestyle. Being involved in the action is more fun than just looking cute on the sideline. Who says you can’t do both anyway?
